Sustainable noise barriers from RAU\u00ae<\/sup> <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Noise protection<\/a><\/span> is now a generally recognized and indispensable factor in all areas of our daily lives. Noise barriers permanently change the face of our landscape, whether in the city or in the rural regions of our country, they limit our field of vision and create barriers that not only keep the sound away from us, but also separate us from our familiar surroundings. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

RAU\u00ae<\/sup> sees more tasks in today’s noise barriers than just keeping sound out. Climate-friendly, green noise barriers should bring a piece of nature back into cities or, in the case of RAU\u00ae<\/sup> photovoltaics<\/a>, produce renewable energy at the same time. This makes RAU\u00ae<\/sup> the only company in Germany to offer this combination. In order to make this commitment visible in the form of a CO2<\/sub> balance, RAU\u00ae<\/sup> has decided to create a product balance sheet for the RAU\u00ae<\/sup> Climate Wall<\/a> green noise barrier. <\/p>

As a partner for active climate protection, KlimAktiv<\/a> carried out a study to determine the carbon footprint of a RAU\u00ae<\/sup> noise barrier. This involved determining the greenhouse gas emissions of the RAU\u00ae<\/sup> climate wall<\/a> along the product life cycle from the cradle to the finished wall. RAU\u00ae<\/sup> Geosystem GBK has been producing ecological noise barriers since it was founded over 20 years ago. In addition to greening and minimizing the consumption of resources, the company keeps the impact on nature as low as possible. What’s more, the climate-neutral noise barrier systems can be easily dismantled. <\/p>

For the RAU\u00ae<\/sup> climate wall, the emissions calculated from the provision of raw materials, production through to the finished wall and the respective transportation are exceeded by the emissions bound by the greening after just a few years.
