It is intended to reduce the background noise for the future residents of the first 225 apartments in the new &#8220;Walquartiert Friedenstal&#8221; district on Lenastrasse\/Zepernicker Chaussess. The 4.20 meter high noise barrier will be erected over a length of 285 meters. On the street side, it will have a coating of coconut fibers, which will later be covered with greenery. On the inside, the wall will be covered with geotextile.
