RAU® Climatewall S assembly steps
1. integration into existing supporting structures
- The noise protection elements are planned individually and are delivered to the construction site fully assembled.
- They are inserted into hot-dip galvanized steel beams (HEA/HEB profiles), which serve as a load-bearing structure.
- These beams are firmly anchored in the ground using driven pipes or bored piles to ensure maximum stability.
- Alternatively, the elements can also be integrated into existing concrete or steel systems.
2. stable anchoring of the supporting structure
- The concrete base serves as splash protection and forms the transition to the area in contact with the ground, protects the noise protection elements from moisture and increases durability.
- The previously described foundation piles (driven piles or bored piles) serve as the foundation and ensure secure and permanent anchoring.
- The combination of steel girders and modular elements ensures resistance to weathering and mechanical loads.
3. possible combinations with other materials
- RAU® Climatewall S elements can be flexibly combined with other materials such as wood, aluminum or glass.

4. extensive greening possible
- Optionally, trellises or planting systems can be added to create a natural greening of the noise barrier to enable natural greening of the noise barrier.
