From solid larch wood, pine and spruce to sweet chestnut. This guarantees the construction of a stable and robust noise barrier. The noise barrier made of larch is particularly impressive due to its light and natural coloring, which harmonizes beautifully with a green area. Larch wood is resistant to chemicals and extremely durable. The high resin content of larch wood ensures that the wood is very dimensionally stable and hardly warps or expands over time.

Advantages

The structure

The effective sound insulation system consists of a deep foundation with foundation piles and a concrete base. The foundation piles are either driven piles or bored piles. The noise protection effect, as well as the sound insulation and absorption, is provided by the noise protection cassettes made of larch heartwood.

Own production

RAU® manufactures its own wooden noise protection cassettes. This enables flexible design and manufacture of the noise protection elements.

The desired equipment

The wooden noise barrier can be equipped with doors and gates on request, a combination with glass, aluminum and concrete is possible and the wooden noise barrier can be designed to be highly absorbent on one or both sides.

Certification

Noise protection and sound insulation are provided equally from both sides. The RAU® wooden sound insulation wall is a certified system with tested sound insulation and absorption values.
