Job details & challenges:

The planning and implementation of noise protection measures require a high degree of technical precision and individual adaptation. The challenge lies in particular in taking into account the specific conditions on site: varying ground conditions, limited space in some areas, integration into existing traffic and residential structures as well as ecological requirements for greening and biodiversity. The modular construction method enables flexible adaptation to these framework conditions. At the same time, the implementation places the highest demands on statics, durability and greening systems.

Project objective:

The aim of the project is to achieve an effective reduction in noise pollution through the construction of a green noise barrier and at the same time to make an aesthetically pleasing, ecologically valuable contribution to the design of the neighborhood. The noise barrier is intended to increase the quality of living and recreation in the neighborhood, create retreats for flora and fauna and contribute to a harmonious cityscape through its green design. At the same time, it sets an example for sustainable, future-oriented construction that combines ecological functionality and urban integration.

Results

Conclusion:

The "Luisenglück green noise barrier" construction project is an example of how modern noise protection can be harmonized with sustainability, aesthetics and functionality. The green wall not only creates peace and quiet, but also quality of life - and thus symbolizes the transformation of a formerly industrial area into a sustainable, liveable urban quarter.
