Noise barrier project in Haffkrug
RAU® Climatewall S - Effective sound insulation in the seaside resort of Haffkrug
The aim of the project was to reduce noise pollution from the adjacent road traffic in a tourist area. The noise barrier combines effective sound absorption with an ecological approach, as it can be overgrown with climbing plants and thus blends harmoniously into the townscape.

Job details & challenges:
The contract involved the design and installation of a space-saving noise protection measure at a location with high traffic frequency and limited space. The biggest challenge was to find a solution that could be installed efficiently without interfering with the existing infrastructure.
Project objective:
The aim of the project was to noticeably reduce the ambient noise, improve the quality of life for residents and at the same time create an aesthetically and ecologically sustainable design solution that blends unobtrusively into the existing townscape.
