Sustainable noise protection with vacation flair

A special project recently took the RAU^® team to the vacation island of Mallorca: In Llucmajor, Managing Director Erwin Königsberger and his team of four erected a 50-metre-long and up to 4-metre-high RAU^® Climatewall within a week – a green noise protection solution that is both ecologically and economically convincing.
The wall was filled with excavated material directly from the construction site and will be planted with native climbing plants by local landscape gardeners in the future. In close cooperation with local partners, a sustainable oasis of calm was created without any concrete foundations. This not only saves resources, but also costs up to 50% compared to traditional solutions such as stone gabions or concrete walls.
Thanks to efficient project management and ideal preparation, the implementation went smoothly to the great satisfaction of the client. For RAU^®, this is further proof of how flexibly and effectively modern noise protection systems can be planned and implemented throughout Europe today.
